We think very hard and very carefully about this award as it is not awarded often. This Award Celebrates a Woman of Particularly Rare Qualities. A Woman who has gone beyond the call of Duty and Friendship. A Woman who gives of herself, her time, and more, to help others. A Woman who is there whenever she is needed or wanted, to befriend, console, support and to teach.
The recipient this year is a Special Lady, she has been with us since we first began to create this site. She has helped to build all of our groups, new and old, built web pages, written articles, come up with new ideas and innovations. She has stayed with us through thick and thin even when her own life has been difficult or her health has not been good, she has been THERE!
Strangely enough, this Very Special Lady lacks confidence, in herself and her own abilities. Goodness knows why! She is good at what she does, she is so willing to learn and to teach and yet she lacks this confidence.
